So for a lot of people there were problems with the stream last night. Its been a while since Ive been streaming and this was a fairly unique case where we had non-Patreon joining in as well; so I ran the stream through Vimeo. 🙁
What I couldn’t understand was the amount of different problems people had while watching and interacting with the show! Both ticket holders and Patreon folk had such a wide and varied amount of problems 🙂
Link said ‘unauthorised’; link worked but no video; stuck on TCG logo screen; video would play but no audio; audio but no video; couldn’t comment; couldn’t open chat; could chat but couldn’t see video; couldn’t cast video and on and on!
It was bonkers, so I tried to fix it during the stream so there is about 5-10 mins gap at the 45 minute mark. The video above should start straight away and was what about 35 people enjoyed reasonably uninterrupted with no issue 🙂 I don’t know what happened the rest of you but we’ll get better as we go forward, right? <3
This LiveChat was an idea I had after the Dublin show had to be cancelled; so as you probably heard Ireland has some crazy restrictions on public events! Its gone a bit mad tbh, but not like most other places. With this in mind and the fact its probably not getting better any time soon, I went and cancelled my live show in Dublin that was supposed to be for Friday 14th Jan 2022 in Liberty Hall.
In its place we did this livestream situation and did a show online live with a few guests. So Edwin Sammon, Tom O’Mahony, Northern Gord and Shane Brown are joined me to chat about Propaganda and the various aspects of manipulation we are all going though in the world right now!
It was streamed through Vimeo and you can only watch it here on Patreon or if you have the link somewhere you can watch it through there 🙂 It was great craic and we talked about Propaganda, its tools and functions; who historically used it and for what; the power of rhetoric and language on the public; and the current situation we all find ourselves in globally! A very interesting chat and great craic from my wonderful guests!
